Best DOWNTOWN Car Rental w/ Shuttle to PoM

Staying in downtown Miami overnight before out cruise out of Port of Miami. Don't really want to drive back to MIA to drop off the car. What company have you had the best experience with shuttling from downtown Miami to PoM?

Your best bet is to return the car before you check into the hotel and avoid the $25-30+ daily parking fee. :eek: A taxi to POM the next morning will cost about $12

 

Avis, Hertz and others have locations scattered around downtown Miami - what hotel are you staying at? :confused:

We have two little ones who need car seats/boosters. Not sure if a taxi will take them.

They will if you bring your own car seats.

 

Mixed reports about Avis and Hertz (both downtown) having shuttles to the port - I would call both locations.

 

Check the family cruise board for more hints about travelling with kids and car seats; I know the airlines will check the seats for free if you do not use them on the flight.
