Hi,

Does anyone have a picture looking down on the aft balconies on Royal princess as are worried people on deck 16 might see the balconies. We are in A738 and A739. Does anyone have any experience in these cabins or any pictures of the balcony? We can't work out the size of the balcony. Thanks

I don't have any pictures but was on the last leg of the Caribbean April 12-22nd and the aft cabin areas looked awesome. We could see them when exiting and entering the ship. Don't worry about privacy...you'll have it with these and the balconies are bigger. The ones that do not have a lot of privacy are directly under the sky walk. But then again people were not gawking at balconies below.

Enjoy your upcoming cruise!! The royal is a stunningly beautiful ship! I miss her...

I have looked down from the aft of the Horizon Terrace and the Marina deck balconies are fully exposed as are most of the Riviera balconies. Little if any of the Aloha deck balconies were visible. Your balconies will only be about 5 feet deep but you share a center section and the balconies should be about 12 feet wide. In addition the door can be opened between the two balconies and it is not the tiny door on the Grand class ships, but a full height door that is over 2-1/2 feet wide. I have seen a photo of the door open between M726 and M727 and the opening is very large.

This is a photo of the door opened between the center two balconies on Marina deck (courtesy of lynn_and_rob). The Marina deck balconies are 9 feet deep but the Aloha deck balconies will only be 5 feet deep. Still, with the door open you should have space for quite a party on your two balconies :)
