Lumpyguy1 Posted May 2, 2016 #1 Share Posted May 2, 2016 Somebody on another cruise page has said that she was on ventura in March, and she didn't get cash back at the casino when she gave her chips in. Instead they paid it into her onboard account. Is this true of P&O now. It sounds a bit confusing.

I made a fair profit as well :D
john watson Posted May 2, 2016 #3 Share Posted May 2, 2016 (edited) The casino cashiers pay for surrendered chips in cash. When you get the cash you can pay this in at main reception against your on board account. This facility may have been expanded to the casino cashiers for people that might wish, I do not know. This seems unlikely in my opinion as the casinos best interest is people having a bit of loose cash to "reinvest". You can also pay in foreign currency at main reception against your on board account balance. This would also help to set against casino losses. If you win on the machines you can add that back onto your account or get cash. BTW Dave I think I may have done quite well as well. :) Metz. Old boy.
