Sandy Beach Questions

I have some questions. I'm interested in going to Sandy Beach.

1) is this the same or different than 'the beach at Sandy Lane'?

2) To get there, do I just pick up as taxi at the pier and ask to go there? How long of a taxi ride? How much?

3) Is it easy to get a taxi back to the pier?

Thanks so much for the info!

Sandy Lane and Sandy Beach are two separate and distinct areas. Sandy Lane is on the West Coast and Sandy Beach is on the south coast.

The length of the taxi ride to Sandy Beach would depend on the traffic but I would say about 15-25 minutes. I believe the cost maybe in the region of $25-$30 each way.

It should be quite easy to find a taxi back in that area or you can arrange with the taxi you took there to come back for you.

Sandy Beach, Worthing -on the South Coast

is presently under extensive renovation

-it's a work site when I passed there a week ago!

so access to their nice beach is probably best accomplished

via Carib Beach Bar

about 150 yds. East of Sandy Beach proper -on the same beach!

Spock rents chairs at Carib, where there's shade too...

and the bar serves lunch and the all-important beverages :)

so might like to enjoy the sandy beach at Carib instead

- or walk up and down the beach and see what suits you!

I hear there are turtles in the lagoon, right there..

tame enough to come right up to you!
