tbmrt Posted May 5, 2016 #1 Share Posted May 5, 2016 My TA had made an error and booked a bed by balcony cabin for us, pretty close to mid-ship. Today he tried to change to bed by bath as I requested, but only thing he could get on Decks 10 or 11, D6, was 10300. Other than a very long walk for most things, anything else that could be problematic with a cabin in that area? We like to sit on couch and look out at the sea so guess I should stick with that cabin. Thanks so much.
Clarea Posted May 5, 2016 #2 Share Posted May 5, 2016 I can't see anything wrong with the stateroom, and the walk is not that bad from the aft elevator lobby.

Surfguyxxx Posted May 5, 2016 #4 Share Posted May 5, 2016 And you can lose calories while you get there. :D:D We did a forward cabin and it was a "bear" to get back to the room if you forgot something. Enjoy the room.
monorail81 Posted May 6, 2016 #5 Share Posted May 6, 2016 Just curious...why is it better to have the bed by the bathroom instead?
Clarea Posted May 6, 2016 #6 Share Posted May 6, 2016 Just curious...why is it better to have the bed by the bathroom instead? It's not universally better, some just like the bed closer to the bathroom. It's called personal preference.
CRUISEMAMI Posted May 6, 2016 #7 Share Posted May 6, 2016 On Oasis right now, and the bed is next to the bathroom: I hate it!!!! Not enough room to get to the closet! We are doing B2B and we are changing room [emoji15], but so happy about the bed is near the balcony door[emoji4][emoji4]

Given the choice, I prefer the bad closer to the balcony on the Oasis class ships.
SmileUSC Posted May 8, 2016 #10 Share Posted May 8, 2016 How do you know (without calling) if your bed is by the bathroom or the balcony? We are staying in room 9186 in September.
