Astro Flyer Posted May 10, 2016 #26 Share Posted May 10, 2016 Here's a link to Princess@Sea info on the Princess website although it hasn't been updated because it still shows links to downloading a Messenger app which are not available & are unnecessary. http://www.princess.com/learn/onboard/activities/princess-at-sea/
easyboy Posted May 10, 2016 #27 Share Posted May 10, 2016 For those who want a one button choice---On iPhones you can have add any web page to your home screen. Click on the (blue) square icon with the arrow then, Click on the (dark grey) square icon with the + labeled Add to Home Screen. Thanks for this useful tip. I shall do so when I board. I'm glad it's a web based browser so device compatibility isn't much of an issue, but without a native app we won't be able to get notifications :( looking forward to figuring this all out on board soon! Memargi Posted March 18, 2017 #31 Share Posted March 18, 2017 It's unavailable because the app is not needed to use the Princess@Sea intranet system which includes Messenger. :) It appears that you down load it when you get to the ship. I am hoping that is correct
Astro Flyer Posted March 18, 2017 #32 Share Posted March 18, 2017 It appears that you down load it when you get to the ship. I am hoping that is correct There's no app to download...you simply open your device's web browser & it connects you to the free P@S intranet site on the ship. :) Here's the description from their website: "Getting started with Princess@Sea is easy. Simply connect to the ship’s WIFI once onboard, open the browser on your computer, tablet, mobile phone or other device, and Princess@Sea will be the default page that appears. It even operates in "Airplane Mode". No cellular or data charges required!" http://www.princess.com/ships-and-experience/onboard-experience/activities/princess-at-sea/
