Ft. Lauderdale hotels

I am booking precruise hotels for March 2017 for 2 nights. I have found the Hilton Marina on 17th Street and the Bahia Mar on FLL beach. Which would you choose?

 

We have stayed at Bahia Mar many years ago. Last time we stayed in FLL was at the Courtyard Marriott nice location but it's out of budget this trip.

The water taxi stops at/near both. The beach is accessible by free shuttle from the Hilton. I'm torn as to which one to chose.

I almost forgot they are the same price.

We like any hotel along the beach. Have stayed at Bahia Mar several times because we like the location for a night or two stay. We aren't keen on the busy 17th St hotels.

The beach should be nice in March. If it was November through February, the beach wouldn't be as attractive.

I like the Bahia Mar.

 

Their pool is pretty cool, views of the Atlantic Ocean and Intracoastal.

When you live in Illinois any beach at anytime is attractive, especially Nov thru March. :)

 

I'm leaning towards Bahia Mar especially if we stay 2 nights pre cruise.
