Amsterdam to Budapest River guidebook map

We are booked on a Viking - Amsterdam to Budapest river cruise and wonder if there are any guidebook pocket maps you could recommend that show all the Landmarks along the river with explanations.

I got a specific one to Viking on board the ship. It was very helpful and cost about $12 if I remember correctly. It was one of those foldout things but quite specific and nicely designed. They run out so get it immediately.

No need to buy anything unless you want. Viking will send you a detailed booklet before your cruise. It comes in the same package with your red leather luggage tags, toiletry bag, etc. It's not exactly a map book but a travelogue pointing out the history and special places.

I bought one of those maps too. Hadn't noticed it myself, but saw someone else with one. They are in the "store" ... aka the little shelf with things for sale!

 

I found it handy and a nice take home . . .

This souvenir map of the Danube sold for €7, on our Uniworld cruise in April. It was a good way to use up the last of our OBC. We also bought one of the Rhône last year.

 

 

It's a huge foldout map with a fair amount of info. Makes a nice souvenir.
