Rare 1025cruise Posted May 13, 2016 #1 Share Posted May 13, 2016 I'm getting ready for my first cruise on Carnival (though not my first cruise). I just booked spa reservations, and was surprised that I had to pre-pay. While this does not bother me (less to pay after the cruise), does Carnival tack on an automatic gratuity to spa services? If so, was it included in what I prepaid, or will it be tacked on to my account afterwards?
jayman31 Posted May 15, 2016 #2 Share Posted May 15, 2016 Yes there will be an auto 15% tip on the receipt that you sign after your treatment along with an additional tip line should you wish to give more than the standard 15%

Rare 1025cruise Posted May 15, 2016 Author #4 Share Posted May 15, 2016 Thanks for the replies. I'm a firm believer that for services such as this, if I can't be trusted to give a gratuity without the need to be charged one, then that is all they will get, even if I would have left more.
