My 14 year old was on the Valor last fall; he was 13 then. He LOVED Circle C. We hardly saw him. ( we did make sure that we all checked in with each other pretty frequently). He was so busy. No boredom at all.

My two boys, now 21 and 17, went on several cruises in that Circle C age range. I think those years were some of their favorite cruises. The kids have some independence, but the organized activities keep them in one area.

The activities, however, in some cases were less organized than listed. Even though there are always activities, at that age, they also enjoy "Just hanging around" with each other.

Unlike Camp Carnival, which activities end at 10pm, often times there were Circle C Activities until Midnight.

Our first cruise, our oldest was 14. She was dismissive of the Circle C, until she got in there. After she started, her sister became an only child for the next few days!

She made some good friends there, including one that goes to the rival high school here - go figure. They do a lot with them. They take over the nightclub for an hour or so, all sorts of games and movies. She ended up hanging out with 4 of them a lot outside of the Circle C as well. And this is a girl who doesn't make friends easy.

I had a 14 year old at my table in the MDR last year. He spent about 10 minutes with us each night because he was in such a rush to get to the club. He always preordered his dinner the night before so it would be quicker.

My 14 year old daughter enjoyed the club activities, but even more, enjoyed just hanging out with the kids she met, all around the ship. She and two other girls used to meet in the club room, then go for ice cream and just wander the ship together.
