DonnaK Posted May 19, 2016 #26 Share Posted May 19, 2016 (edited) We never saw anyone, male or female, turned away from Silk, Chic or American Icon, for wearing shorts during our 34 days on board. It wasn't even listed in the Daily Cruise Compass about shorts not being allowed in those dining venues. We did, however, see a gentleman denied access to Silk because he had on shorts and a tank top. Well, I was only on for 8 days, and we saw someone turned away once - not sure which venue because he was standing in the middle between the 2 restaurants speaking with the Maitre-d. We met someone who was turned away from the Grande. We also met a couple who said that they were turned away from each of the complementary venues for wearing shorts (and the guy changed into pants some of the nights, and they went to the WJ others) Edited May 19, 2016 by DonnaK
jennmaybe Posted May 19, 2016 #27 Share Posted May 19, 2016 We've only sailed Oasis & Freedom class on RC and my hubby wears dress shorts in the MDR every night except formal nights. He has never been turned away. He wears dress shorts and a Hawaiian shirt.
