Tendering in Geiranger on QE

Can anyone help? Looking at the port schedule it looks like the QE arrives in Geiranger at 8.00am on our cruise. How long does it take to disembark with tendering, bearing in mind we are not on a ships tour or in Grills so we probably won't be first in the queue! I'm looking to book a panoramic bus tour and am not sure what time to go for. Also has anyone done this 90 min tour and is it worth it? We also hoping to do the waterfall walk in the afternoon.

Thanks

Geraingfer now has a jetty where ships can moor, but there's only room for one. So check the port schedule for the day you are there to see if there are any other ships and you may be lucky not need the tender.

Thanks for that. Do you know how long it will take to get off the ship by tender?

Thanks for the replies this is really helpful!

Should be no more than a couple of hours!

I believe that it is Ships excursions, grills etc. first. Then go to Queens Room and take a number. They will call for passengers in groups and then make sure you don't get crushed in the rush as those called race for the stairs and lifts. If you are very lucky, the stairs wont be totally blocked by others who think it is better to wait there rather than where told
