erinlaw Posted May 20, 2016 #1 Share Posted May 20, 2016 we are headed to Hawaii on POA in two weeks. Interested in doing horseback riding in Kauai. Any recommendations? Not interested in doing excursion through the ship as it eliminates by 6 year old DD, who has experience riding.

Somone recently asked the same question on our Radiance Hawaii roll call so I Googled and posted this. Trip Advisor can be a very reliable review source. :) I am not a horseback rider but with the two day stay in Lahaina it would be a good opportunity for you. Here is one close to the port. http://mauihorse.com/ Seem to have good reviews https://www.tripadvisor.com/Attracti...ui_Hawaii.html Of course we have two days on Kauai as well and this looks good, probably more scenic on that island. http://www.silverfallsranch.com/ Looks to have really great reviews. https://www.tripadvisor.com/Attracti...ai_Hawaii.html

cccole Posted May 20, 2016 #4 Share Posted May 20, 2016 When we travelled to Hawaii when our kids were young, we had problems finding horseback riding because of the insurance issues for very young children. So it may not be just the policy of the ship that restricts the age. There were a couple places on Maui that we enjoyed but did not ride on Kauai. Have fun.
