wrigley80 Posted June 10, 2016 Author #253 Share Posted June 10, 2016 OK y'all I am back. It has been a busy week for me here in Orlando. My mom, aunt, and best friend all flew in last week. They have all went home :( but that gives me time to work on my review. It was so great to see my mom. It is the first time seeing her since I moved down to Florida in March. So I left off with my review at the end of our second day onboard...a sea day...Next up would our first port of call in Dubrovnik, Croatia. Anyone who knows me by now or reads my reviews will remember that I cruise for the ship and not the ports. This cruise on the Vista was no different. wrigley80 Posted June 10, 2016 Author #254 Share Posted June 10, 2016 Our first port of call on our 13-day cruise would bring us to Dubrovnik, Croatia. I did not get off the ship in Dubrovnik. I stayed onboard and enjoyed the ship. WHOA....NO CHAIR HOGS The mid-ship pool set-up is very similar to the Breeze The Red Frog Rum bar and Blue Iguana Tequila bar have very similar layouts People will often ask me why I stay onboard on days when the ship is in port...this picture sums up my answer. It seems like you have the whole ship to yourself I felt a little alone.....hahahaha
wrigley80 Posted June 10, 2016 Author #255 Share Posted June 10, 2016 There were a lot of places to sit around the ship with these comfy chairs Blue Iguana Tequila Bar Cabana Red Frog Rum Bar Cabana The Skyride on the Sports Deck....more to come about this later
kybluecruiser Posted June 10, 2016 #256 Share Posted June 10, 2016 (edited) Ok i got a t question.... Lol besides why do you still root for the lame Niger dame Irish. wrigley80 Posted June 10, 2016 Author #260 Share Posted June 10, 2016 There were so many things to do in the waterworks area for big kids and little kids Notice the tubes...those are for the new Kaleidoslide.

wrigley80 Posted June 10, 2016 Author #264 Share Posted June 10, 2016 So after checking out the Waterworks area I headed to the Cloud 9 Spa. Now I have never bought a Spa Pass on any previous cruise but my friend that I was traveling with always books a Spa Cabin or she will buy a spa Pass. The first day of the cruise the Spa was having a special for a couples pass. It was $399.00 for 2 people for a 13-day cruise. My friend Laura really wanted Spa access so we bought it. It was $199.00 per person. Now here's my thoughts on the Spa. I don't think I got my money's worth but it was nice to go in there into the whirlpool and hot stone beds after a long day onboard. It was a nice retreat to get away and relax Locker Room and Sauna I utilized the whirlpool the most. Now it is not a Thallosotherapy pool which I found kind of odd but I enjoyed the whirlpool

wrigley80 Posted June 10, 2016 Author #266 Share Posted June 10, 2016 After a couple hours in the Spa and whirlpool I was all shriveled up so it was time to get out and head back to the cabin to get showered Just a few pics along my way back to the cabin This ice cream cone was screaming my name....so there's no way I could turn it down For dinner tonight we went to the Lido Buffet because neither one of us wanted to get dressed up for dinner

wrigley80 Posted June 10, 2016 Author #272 Share Posted June 10, 2016 I always make it a point to buy a bag of the Sour Gummy Funnels from the Candy Shop on every cruise
wrigley80 Posted June 10, 2016 Author #273 Share Posted June 10, 2016 The Cherry on Top candy shop on the Vista was also an ice cream shop. Now they are supposed to have a Coldstone but it wasn't working on our cruise so we had hand dipped ice cream and then you could choose whatever toppings you wanted
Rare Jamman54 Posted June 10, 2016 #274 Share Posted June 10, 2016 Hey Brianna!! Wonderful review as always. The Vista looks like an awesome ship!! Hope you had a great visit from your mom, aunt and BF.:)
wrigley80 Posted June 10, 2016 Author #275 Share Posted June 10, 2016 Another beautiful dreamscape pattern After a drink in the atrium we headed up to the deli to get a Hot Dog to take back to the cabin. I know it is something simple but the hot dogs were so good on the Vista. It must be that European Beef Hot Dog Kinda quiet up on the Lido Deck We arrived back in the cabin to our towel animal....a little elephant That is the end of Day #3 onboard the beautiful Carnival Vista. Tomorrow we would be in Kotor, Montenegro. Kotor was a last minute port that was added to our itinerary when Izmir, Turkey was removed. I hope you all are continuing to enjoy my review. Feel free to ask any and all questions and thanks again for being patient with me
