Picking up luggage at pier 66 Seattle?

Recommended Posts

Hi all. I would like to check my luggage at the end of the cruise, see Seattle a bit and then to the airport. I know latest pickup is around 3. Does anyone have any information about how the pick up works? Do you present a ticket and get your bags? How does that work if you just place them on a conveyer belt. Also how long does it take to get the Luggage back? Anyone with a bad experience or misplaced luggage? Just trying to plan things out for July.

In Seattle at Pier 66, when you disembark the ship, you talk to CBP then you will go downstairs to claim your bags. I wouldn't risk your bags sitting out unsecured. I would claim your bags and store them in the concierges office. They charge $3 per bag to store them until 330pm. They put a number on the bag and then you claim it with the ticket that matches.

I have used them before and it was quick and simple to pick up my bags. For a few ideas of what to do in Seattle, check out my pictures from my day in Seattle post cruise from earlier this May. here is the link: http://boards.cruisecritic.com/showthread.php?t=2355797&page=4

Seattle is a great place to explore and experience!
