Yacht club .... Is dress same as rest of ship?

We have a chance to upgrade to Yacht club but are concerned about the dress being formal all the time or is the same as the rest of the ship? We don't mind dressing up on formal nights, but not every night and want to relax during the day. Any recent YC cruisers, any info please.....

Cruise casual is perfectly acceptable. Shorts,,t-shirts flip flops all welcomed in the Yacht Club. You will need to wear pants, shirt, shoes for dinner however,,,and on formal nights you can decide how formal you would like to go,,,:)

You don't have to go all out on formal night. I wore a nice maxi dress and my husband wore a dark suit.

We will be the the YC on 6/11 and do not plan on formal dressing...my DH will wear a collared shirt with dockers and I some sort of summer dress/skirt...nothing fancy! Take your upgrade and enjoy!

It is not that formal, you can dress as casual as you like.

Most evenings are casual in the YC. Same goes for lunch and dinner in the YC restaurants. For formal evenings men usually wear a suit or a jacket and tie. Tuxedos and long gowns are rarely seen anymore on MSC ships.
