Escape - Shore Excursions for Wheelchair Travelers

My mother will be traveling on the Escape with us. She is only able to walk short distances and most likely will be using a wheel chair when leaving the ship at the ports. Are there any excursions that would be suitable for someone in a wheelchair in Tortola or St. Thomas?

I have seen in the past large buses with wheelchair lifts used by NCL.

If she can walk some, then pretty much any excursion will be fine....as long as she can get into the bus or transportation mode....they can fold the wheelchair and take it along. It's really only when a person cannot walk at all, when there's an issue.
