Excursions with Infants on Allure of the Seas. HELP!

Recommended Posts

My husband and I will be traveling with our 12 month old on Allure of the Seas in August. Being from Miami we have cruised a lot over the years and know how the excursions and ports of call work. However, this will be the first time we cruise with a baby! I'm not sure whether to pre-book excursions through the cruise or arrange for transportation at the port. We just want to head over to a beach for a couple of hours and would be booking the "beach break" type of excursions. Our ports of call include St. Kitts, St. Maarten, and Nassau. Any help would be appreciated! Thank you in advance!

We were here last March on St Kitts - very nice. Nice beach, good food. Wouldn't hesitate to go back for a beach day:)

We were also there in March and would definitely return. This was a two-hour stop at the end of an island tour, but would be happy coming straight here another time. Easy to find a taxi I'd think.

We are considering the Nassau Hilton for a beach break next March:

There's a current thread here with lots of positive reviews. Last post was today, but it may be down a couple of pages.

Tons of possibilities for beach breaks on St. Martin. Go to the ports board and peruse the many options. I'd go to Orient Beach because of the ease of getting transportation.
