Stevi Posted June 7, 2016 #1 Share Posted June 7, 2016 So we have an Handicapped Accessible mini suite book for 3 adults on a 7 day Alaskan Cruise on the Ruby Princess. Since I am the single passenger I offered to take the sofa bed. Any one had any experience with it? BTW I am the disabled traveler. Thanks, Stevi
SadieN Posted June 7, 2016 #2 Share Posted June 7, 2016 We had one on the Grand?Golden? When the sofa bed is unfolded it'll block most of the slider. Ask for a topper. The one we had had a super thin mattress and the framework was extremely loose. The covers will be stored off the bed because it's too much bulk for it to fold. Hopefully your steward will be better than ours, Sis had to hunt for her bedding every night. Kept the tips on but he got a scathing review. Pam in CA Posted June 7, 2016 #3 Share Posted June 7, 2016 I slept on a sofa bed on the Pacific Princess and had no problems. I found it comfortable.

Stevi Posted June 11, 2016 Author #5 Share Posted June 11, 2016 Thanks everyone for your thoughts and insights. Pam in CA I am glad you found it comfortable, I was worried it might not be. SadieN the suggestions regarding the bedding and the topper are awesome. Stevi
jennybenny Posted June 12, 2016 #6 Share Posted June 12, 2016 I just need to remember to request the topper Plus, we are going on a cruise with 3 of us, so I think my sister and I will be alternating days on the sofa bed
