Has anyone used 1 players card for 2 people. I gamble significantly more than DD and get the comped cruises from CAS. Would there be a benefit for him playing with my card? Or is that unethical

I don't know if you physically can do this. I did see some people using their room key instead of their player's card, but when I have brought an old copy of my players card it didn't work. My wife and I usually play together, alternating hands, for at least a portion of the time, makes the session bankroll last longer.

If you are using the same credit card for your on board account, you can have the two CAS accounts combined at the end of the cruise, which will help when they go to discount any of the final balance due to your play.

 

Otherwise, the only way to do this (ethical or otherwise) is to get a second copy of your card and have him use it. If you gamble a lot, the casino would probably catch on to this - they can see which cards are in which machines and they'd probably wonder how you're playing two machines on opposite sides of the casino. Or they might come over to chat, as casino hosts do, and find your DD there instead of you.

 

I will say that we often do this in land based casinos...if one or the other of us needs a boost in points, we both use that card for while.

 

However, doing this will gain you nothing towards future comps. CAS will still consider individual play when considering comps. So which ever of you plays the most should be the one calling for comp cruises. They will consider you DD's play if you make sure you tell them they are coming along.

I always request a second casino card because I will play side by side quick hits, it will not work on different sides of the casino.

As far as comps go, they can be combined to bump up to a better category. They combine my mother and I all the time for them including Haven suites.
