DivotMaker Posted June 9, 2016 #1 Share Posted June 9, 2016 My wife and older daughter are taking a helicopter tour, so I'll have the 8 and 11 year olds with me (no interest in the helicopter) so I'm trying to find something they'd enjoy. We're only there from 7-1:30, any suggestions would be appreciated.
mapleleaves Posted June 9, 2016 #2 Share Posted June 9, 2016 mendenhall glacier is an easy option. Hike to Nuggett Falls. Look at the Juneau Visitor Guide for other ideas. The link is in a thread below about Resouces for Alaska trip planning. (the Mendenhall guide is there also with trail info)

mapleleaves Posted June 9, 2016 #4 Share Posted June 9, 2016 a whale watching excursion is the usual choice in Juneau, unless you're doing it at Icy Strait.
