fmax Posted June 15, 2016 #1 Share Posted June 15, 2016 I generally bid on hotels on priceline and have no issue trying to figure out likely hotels. This cruise however there's three of us so I need to go the hotwire route but for the life of me I can't figure out what they could be. I saw recently some amazing poster who had a really good grasp of hotwire hotels but can't recall who it was. Any help much appreciated on what the likely hotel might be on these Hotwire hot rates. Date is Nov 16, 2016 - 1 night. $101 | 3 1/2 Star | Tripadvisor 3.5 of 5 | Downtown Port of Miami Free internet | Fitness Centre | Business Centre | Pool | self-service Laundry | Accessible visual impaired | Accessible hearing impaired $132 | 3 1/2 Star | Tripadvisor 4 of 5 | Downtown Port of Miami Free internet | Fitness Centre | restaurant | boutique hotel | self-service Laundry | spa | smoke free rooms $152 | 4 Star | Tripadvisor 4 of 5 | Downtown Port of Miami Free internet | business Centre | restaurant | boutique hotel | smoke free rooms $106 | 3 1/2 Star | Tripadvisor 4 of 5 | Brickell - Financial District Free internet | Fitness Centre | Business Centre | Pool | restaurant | pet friendly | boutique hotel
southnam Posted June 15, 2016 #2 Share Posted June 15, 2016 Did your already ask on better bidding? Sent from my MotoG3 using Tapatalk
fmax Posted June 16, 2016 Author #3 Share Posted June 16, 2016 I put an enquiry out there. Wants adding more confusion is if I go directly to hotwire and put in dates, area etc I get a list. But then if I use the betterbidding bidding help it brings up different options. For example, on that the following came up, which I guess could be Urbano? $99 | 3 1/2 Star | Tripadvisor 4 of 5 | Brickell - Financial District areas free internet | pet friendly | boutique hotel | fitness centre | pool | restaurant | business centre
fishywood Posted June 16, 2016 #4 Share Posted June 16, 2016 Third one could be the YVE Hotel (smoke free hotel but no pool) Fourth one could be Hotel Urbano (Trip Advisor only lists two Brickell hotels that allow pets, the other [Aloft] does not have a restaurant) Obvious guess (maybe too obvious) for first listing is Holiday Inn Bayside which does have a guest laundry and rooms equipped for visual or hearing impaired. Disclaimer: the above is not a Covered Opinion (as they say in my biz)
fmax Posted June 16, 2016 Author #5 Share Posted June 16, 2016 Thanks. I thought one of them was Urbano and better bidding had predicted the first could be Holiday inn - Port of Miami which I assume is the same as Holiday Inn Bayside.

fmax Posted June 16, 2016 Author #8 Share Posted June 16, 2016 Yes, I checked them out. Having seen some responses on here to similar questions I thought it would prove quicker to check here first as the hotel listings are quick to disappear. As it happens it was as of this a.m. this one is no longer actually appearing as an option. Had I guessed correctly, the only 4 star boutique hotel I had seen listed for Hotwire in that area, I see from their facebook page there hours are: permanently closed!!. Casa Moderna Miami Hotel & Spa - ??? now permanently closed $152 | 4 Star | Tripadvisor 4 of 5 | Downtown Port of Miami Free internet | business Centre | restaurant | boutique hotel | smoke free rooms I did however find an alternate option that might be Hyatt. Hyatt regency miami $168 4 Star | Tripadvisor 3.5 of 5 | Downtown Port of Miami Free Internet | Fitness center | Pool(s) | Restaurant(s) | Business center | Internet access
fmax Posted June 16, 2016 Author #9 Share Posted June 16, 2016 Just an update, decided to go with the Hotel Urbano assumption, and got it. All in CAD $142.09 ($109.68 U.S.)
