apatchetear Posted June 20, 2016 Author #3 Share Posted June 20, 2016 (edited) It was somewhere in San Juan on June 8th. Seems like it was some kind of research school or art school or something. It wasn't in the port area but rather on a back road. We were on a tour around town and just drove by it. I cannot recall the exact location of it or what it even means. Stinger-pr Posted June 21, 2016 #8 Share Posted June 21, 2016 No. It's not the "art sculpture" that used to make pier 3 un-usable. When the Oasis made its first (and until a few weeks ago its only) port call in OSJ over 4 years ago, it was too wide and high for any of the other docks so it had to turn away and skip San Juan. The Governor at that time was so mad he promptly approved to have it torn down and the pier extended precisely with the Oasis class ships in mind. The sculpture in the picture is at the north side of the Capitol building as stated by Aviator of the Seas. It is made from re-purposed plastic water bottles.
