Nice hotel to Monte Carlo cruiseport.

In terms of ease, a taxi or Uber makes the most sense...and is also the most expensive. Taking the train can be very inconvenient as you might still need a taxi to get to the Nice train station (depending on your hotel location and your ability to handle luggage) and you will need a taxi to get from the MC train station to the port. Personally, knowing this region quite well, we would spend the big bucks on a taxi/Uber. As to using Uber (we love Uber) it has been a huge issue in France, where taxis are often overpriced, over regulated, and often provide awful service! But the French philosophy is for taxis not to try and compete with Uber...but rather to strike, show a degree of violence towards Uber cars/drivers, and whine. In fact, we think the French might currently lead the world in whining, be it about McDonalds, Uber, working hard, etc. That being said, DW and moi are Francophiles and have spent a lot of time in the country enjoying both the French people and their unique culture.
