Blue oval trucker Posted June 22, 2016 #1 Share Posted June 22, 2016 I recently returned from a Princess Cruise to Alaska. They served a Chilled Creamed Coconut Soup with Lychees and a chilled Apple Soup, I would like the recipes if anyone has them.
CruiserBruce Posted June 22, 2016 #2 Share Posted June 22, 2016 Welcome to Cruise Critic! You will have a far better chance of locating these if you ask on the Carnival portion of Cruise Critic, located here: http://boards.cruisecritic.com/forumdisplay.php?f=215 A Google search might also be helpful. Rare cml4958 Posted June 22, 2016 #3 Share Posted June 22, 2016 Welcome to Cruise Critic! I think Bruce misread your post. Here's the link for the Princess board... http://boards.cruisecritic.com/forumdisplay.php?f=197 Although he is right, someone on the Princess board might have the answer to your question. Or you might search in that forum and it might have already been asked and answered. Good luck! Carrie
Kartgv Posted June 23, 2016 #4 Share Posted June 23, 2016 Just Google "Princess Cruises Recipes" and you'll come up with multiple options. One I found is a link to request the recipe directly from Princess: http://www.princess.com/customer_care/emailform.jsp?cat=GI&subcat=s1&subject=Request%20for%20Recipes%20and%20Bar/Wine%20Information

SuiteTraveler Posted June 23, 2016 #6 Share Posted June 23, 2016 http://priyaeasyntastyrecipes.blogspot.com/2009/04/thai-chilled-lychee-coconut-soup.html Was it the chilled Golden Delicious Apple and Peach soup that you had? Chilled Golden Delicious Apple and Peach Soup 2 cups Golden Delicious apples, peeled, cored and chopped. 1 cup apple juice or cider 1/2 cup orange juice 1 cup plain yogurt 2 cups fresh cream 1 tbs. honey 1/2 cup dark rum cinnamon nutmeg 2 Golden Delicious apples, quartered, peeled and shaped 2 peaches, peeled and diced fresh mint -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- When in season, fresh peaches are always preferred. When peeling a peach, cut a small x in the bottom. Place the pach in boiling water for 1 to 1 1/2 minutes. Remove the peach and place it into cold water to stop it from cooking. The skin can then be pulled off with a small knife. When working with applie garnishes, squeeze the juice from one lemon into 2 cups of water. After cutting the apple, place the pieces into the lemon-water for approximatley 5 minutes. This will help prevent the apples from oxidizing and turning brown. Treven Posted June 23, 2016 #7 Share Posted June 23, 2016 The Chilled Golden Delicious Apple and Peach Soup that SuiteTraveler mentioned is found in Princess' cook book, Courses. Unfortunately the Chilled Coconut soup is not in their cookbook.
