Questions about tender in Belize off of Getaway

Hey everyone, I have some more questions for you guys.

 

My family and I are going on the Getaway this weekend and it will be the first cruise where we have to tender, in Belize.

 

What is the process like?

 

Do you get tickets and if so how/when?

 

How long should we expect the process to take?

You can order tender tickets from the TV in your cabin. If you have a shore excursion though, you'll be directed where to meet prior to leaving the ship. If you are in a suite, you will have priority tendering.

 

The tender ride is about 20 minutes or so. The seas were pretty choppy last week so I opted not to go.

If you have a Shore Excursion booked through the ship, you will likely meet in the Theater and go through a 'special' corridor to bypass the rest of the line.

 

Otherwise, you have to get a number. My friends did that and it didn't take too long. 15 min maybe.

if you want to get off the ship early, then make sure you request your tender close to the first day of the cruise.

Can anyone tell me if they received this latitude benefit for the tender ride into Belize City. Last time I was here our family had no reason to want tickets in advance as we hadn't made plans . This time it's just the two of us and we'll want to get off ship early.
