Oh no. It seems that a lot goes into making this burger!!! I would assume there are different options for getting a burger on the ship besides Guy's

 

Thankfully she is a healthy eater but she sometimes likes a hamburger. When we sail on a cruise line we typically only go on the smaller ships. This October will be our first cruise in a few years as we typically would just take our boat and motor around.

Why make things so complicated?

 

Best burger recipe:

- 3 oz to 5 oz of your favorite blend of tasty beef cuts, ground

- loosely pack into burger form, size to fit your favorite bun

- use your favorite cooking method: fry, grill, broil DO NOT PRESS DOWN

- toppings optional, nicely cooked burger provides lots of delicious juice

I think it's sad that they make is so difficult to get anything but a regular cheeseburger! I've been on ships with Guy's several times. Too many times I and have seen people try to order off the menu and the answer is "we have cheeseburgers".

 

The play up "ALL" the choices - but who has really been able to get one??? :mad:

 

We dont eat cheese with meat so we ask for regular burger and usually they make one to order. Actually they reheat one of the burgers sitting around but tastes good.

Never had a problem ordering any of the burgers off the wall menu - pig patty, ringer, chili burger, plain jane with our without cheese. We have even ordered them with no bun and it's been no problem.

I never had a problem ordering one of the special burgers either. I like the chili one with cheese.

All of us order different burgers every time. Out of our group of 13, only one gets the plain Jane. I've never heard of this problem.
