Lunch on the serenade

Recommended Posts

Where is the best place for lunch on the Serenade for port days and sea days

Lunch is offered every day in Windjammer and Park Cafe. Additionally, on sea days, the MDR offers lunch.

For extra cost, check out Giovanni's Table.

Bob, I know there are only a couple of MDR menus for lunch. Do you know where I might find them. Thanks,

Sue

How is Rita's Cantina

We tried it ONCE... The tables were sticky to the touch. We only ordered a bowl of chips and it was marginal. The margarita was OK, but we have had lots better. We did not go back.....

My suggestion to RCL is to just use that space as Windjammer seating....

Mixed reviews.

We were on it for a B2B last December. We never saw Rita's open at lunch. It is used for extra Windjammer seating. I think that they open mid to late afternoon.

The only time we saw people in there, they were pax eating their food from the

WJ since finding a table in the WJ could sometimes be tough on sea days.

Rita's is a pass through behind the WJ to get to the back section. Did not look like a successful venture for sure.

Don't forget, you can take your plate of food all the way aft of the WJ and find

some nice outside seating with a great view. They will keep it closed on bad

weather days, but it is usually our destination.

There is a self serve beverage station back there too on the starboard side.

Ritas is on the port side.

Izumi is located just above, where sea view cafe used to be.

We just finished this cruise. Rita's always looked pretty dead (maybe it's busier during warm-weather cruises?). We didn't consider eating there due to so-so reviews. Basically, if they're going to make people pay to eat there, it had better be some really good stuff, and it sounds like it's just so-so Mexican food.

And the location stinks. Lots of temptation inside the Windjammer during the walk to Rita's.
