WiFi in Venice upon arrival

Coming into Venice by air and need to contact Airbnb host. I need to find Wifi when I arrive in Venice by bus.

Does Venice bus station have wifi?

I read one of the two bus systems has wifi on the bus. Can anyone confirm?

I would suggest you get your cell provider to turn on international data and calling. It will cost a few dollars and give you the ability to use the phone for emergency calls home and sporadic data use such as what you describe. I would suggest setting so mail doesn't download automatically. I would never rely 100% on being able to use local wifi for urgent communications.

From what I've been reading. The Marco Polo has free wifi.

Look into installing a "WiFi Finder" app on your device...you can find free wifi that way...

but, for a short call to your AirBnB host, I'd do the call on the cellphone, with international roaming turned on. Then, turn roaming back off... Only a few dollars to do that.
