fflashh Posted July 5, 2016 #1 Share Posted July 5, 2016 I saw a link some time ago listing about 16 MCO hotels with round trip transportation to Port Canaveral included in the price for a nights stay. I think that the majority of them also provided a breakfast prior to the bus/shuttle to the ship. And pickup back to MCO after the cruise is included with prices starting at $130.00. We think this would be the most relaxing, seamless and cost efficient solution. We would have a day pre-cruise to enjoy the sun and pool and also gives us a day cushion in case of airline delays. Can anyone find the link for us or comment on this desired senerio? Otherwise probably consider two rental cars and a hotel in the PC area, which I think would cost more and not be as "seamless ". Your comments and suggestions, Please. Thanks, fflashh.
HUNKY Posted July 5, 2016 #2 Share Posted July 5, 2016 Don't have the link but try the Courtyard Cocoa Beach. Fly, snooze, and cruise package.

JohninDC Posted July 5, 2016 #4 Share Posted July 5, 2016 The drive from MCO to PC is about 50 miles. You would be better off arranging for your own transportation (we prefer one-way rental car) and then find a hotel that meets your needs/budget. BigDaddyCVO Posted July 5, 2016 #5 Share Posted July 5, 2016 While not as seamless as using hotel transportation, doing a one-way rental is not that big of deal and allows for way more flexibility. The last time was sailed out of PC we stayed on Orlando 2 nights pre-cruise for some Universal Studios fun and then drove to PC in the late morning of embarkation day. For our next PC sailing we are staying in Cape Canaveral/Cocoa Beach at least one night pre-cruise again doing a one way rental. We also do one way rentals upon return and choose late day flights so we can enjoy as much as we can before going back to reality.
mattg43 Posted July 11, 2016 #6 Share Posted July 11, 2016 Goportcanaveral.com We used them in Feb. I'd use them again. They book the hotel and arrange the transportation through a local shuttle service (Travel Lynx or something) as a package deal.
