Could you provide more details? What are your plans for New York? What are your exact dates? What are you paying per night tax included? Are you flying into LaGuardia? Typically this is a hotel that folks select for just one precruise night with no NYC plans. It's not well located for sightseeing.

flying into lga late on 9-22 plan on going into city on 23rd cruise on 24th their is 5 of us

about 400 a night for 2 room

A few more questions. Are you 2 adults and 3 kids? Does the $400 include the tax? You are sailing on Regal Princess? Could you do a room for 5?

 

Unfortunately your dates are for one of the busiest and most expensive times in NYC.

Ok so you're all adults. You will be about 10 blocks from the nearest subway. It has F train service which will take you directly to midtown Manhattan or to downtown Manhattan with a transfer to the R train at Jay street.

 

So let's get you some travel advice. What do you plan to do with your day in NYC?

Which hoho bus are you taking? Are you doing both the downtown and uptown loops? Are you planning to start and end in midtown or are you going to get on somewhere closer to Brooklyn?

 

With the time difference coming from CA, are you going to be up and out the next morning to take advantage of the full day? My guess is that it will take you at least an hour to walk to the subway, take the F train to Rockefeller Center, and walk to the hoho bus at Times Square.
