"R" ships restaurant seating for 8

We have cruised a number of times on R ships, but never with a group. We are now booked on Insignia with a group of 8 friends. I can't recall the availability of tables for 8 in MDR and specialty restaurants. I don't think that drawings of seatings on web site deck plans are accurate.

 

Can anyone help?

I know for sure that there are 2 tables for 10 in the MDR. There is a table for 8 on the veranda of Terrace and in both Polo and Toscana. (just got off the ship)

There are a few of them in the GDR

If you will dining in the GDR nightly ask the Maitre'd to set one aside for your group in advance

If you are not going to be there let him/her know so other can enjoy the space
