Tender in Belize

I'll be on the Carnival Dream visiting Belize. How long does it take to tender into port from the ship and how long is the typical wait to get on the tender.

Thanks in advance for info.

The tender itself is about 20-30 minutes one way, depending on the ocean conditions and how fast they are going.

Usually the ships have you get a number and they will call groups to head down to tender over.

Unless you have FTTF or are platinum/diamond, or are doing a Carnival excursion, and you want a relatively early tender, you need to pay attention to the FunTimes listings the night before about when and where to line up for a tender. Then, with your entire party, go to that location 15 minutes before the time listed and get a priority number. Send a party member or two out to grab coffee or something to eat for everyone and bring back to waiting area. Once they start boarding all guests onto tenders if you're in the first couple of hundred folks, you'll be able to catch the first or second tender (typically lineup one behind the other, depending on number of other ships in port). it's sometimes can be 15-30,minutes after listed arrival time before they start boarding tenders in general.
