What can you tell us about Reflection S2 # 2212

Can anyone share recent experiences in this suite? Is there a pole in the suite? If you have any pictures that would be great! I have scoured the internet for pictures of this particular suite and cannot find any.......

No pole in those aft suites -- only the corners have the pole.

Sorry but that's not true. I have been in S2 cabins with poles. 2155 on Silhouette had one so it's possible that there could be one on Reflection but I would think it would be 2210 rather than 2212 if so. At any rate it really was no problem at all. The only problem with the aft suites on deck 12 is the noise from chair dragging. Management has done their best to limit the hours that people are allowed out on the deck above but there are times it can be noisy. Take earplugs if you are sensitive to noise. We personally love to be there because the balcony is covered and the view is great.

I have been in S2 cabins with poles. 2155 on Silhouette had one so it's possible that there could be one on Reflection but I would think it would be 2210 rather than 2212 if so. We specifically wanted a covered balcony with minimal sun - we spend huge amounts of time on our balcony and since DH cannot be in the sun for very long, shade is crucial!

 

We have primarily sailed AFT suites on NCL and find that the AFT location is just perfect for our needs.

 

We tend to go to the pool early in the morning (usually from 8-10:30) before the sun is too high in the sky and then spend the rest of our day puttering around on the balcony, casino, etc.

2219 is another Reflection S2 cabin that has the pole.

 

Reflection has more Aft cabins, than other S-Class ships, due to the additional deck.

If you want the shade, you have to book on Deck 12. It's the only aft that has the large overhang,.

No, it's 2155 on Silhouette.

 

I believe the cabins with the poles on Reflection are 2210 and 2219, you should be fine. The only aft cabins on S-Class that are covered are the ones on deck 12. As I said the only problem with them is they can be noisy from chairs moving overhead but I personally love them anyway.

 

The S2 cabins on the sides on deck 12 are also completely covered but you don't have the aft views and the deck supports from above are also visible.

 

I think you made the right choice as long as you don't think the chair scraping will bother you. Ear plugs are your friend.

We're early risers (always up by 5:30) and are totally NOT worried about nosy chairs! We truly love AFT and the bonus is that this balcony is covered!!

This is the same cabin we are looking at for our Nov. 2017 cruise. Glad there isn't a pole in the middle of the room.

 

You mentioned hearing the chairs on the deck above, what about the noise from the back bar?
