Short Princess cruises

I just hope Princess brings them back to Southampton sailings.

Despite a livelier set of passengers, they are a great weekend break.

I miss them on Princess.

I've taken several 4-5 day cruises out of San Pedro as well as a 2-day out of Vancouver both mid-week and weekend. They were not "booze cruises" by a long shot. Lots of families, younger passengers. A lot of Platinum cruisers looking to get to Elite. They aren't the typical Princess cruises but for a getaway, they were very nice.

 

If that's all the time you can take, go for it! BTW, I really enjoyed the 5-day R/T to Cabo. That was more like a typical Princess cruise than the 4-dsy cruises.

 

Ditto! In fact we met Pam on that Cabo cruise (we did a b2b2b with a 4 day between the Cabo 5 dayers). It's a great way to try different cabins, try different onboard activities, and see Ensenada many times without a great time or dollar cost.

 

We have seen the younger livelier crowd on the Getaway cruises at spring break but they are nothing like other breakers, the only concern I ever had was how many of them could fit in a hot tub.
