jssabs Posted October 25, 2005 #1 Share Posted October 25, 2005 We are sailing on the Grand in December. Our cabin is on the Aloha deck not far from the Terrace Pool. Is this pool adults only? Typically how many chaise lounges are in the area and does it get crowded. We are hoping that it will be a relatively quiet and secluded area. Any comments? Cindy Posted October 25, 2005 #2 Share Posted October 25, 2005 The aft pool is adults only. It's a great place to watch the wake, read a book, and take a nap!:D
sunprincess Posted October 25, 2005 #3 Share Posted October 25, 2005 JSSABS I was recently on the Star Princess Aloha Deck cabin 747 - ve4ry aft cabin. Right out my door was the Terrace Pool. Very quiet on our Baltic cruise. It is the Adults Only Pool. Chairs around the pool area. Here is a photo for you. Enjoy your cruise :)
DrD Posted October 26, 2005 #4 Share Posted October 26, 2005 Yes, very quiet partly due to the Skywalker's putting it in the shade almost all day. It was one of my favorite spots on board! But you won't get tan.
JWpianoboe Posted October 26, 2005 #5 Share Posted October 26, 2005 Woohoo! I think this is the first time I have something to contribute considering my limited cruise experience. I was on the Grand a few years ago and I went to the aft pool nearly every night. I loved swimming there and watching off the back of the ship. It was definitely the quietest pool on the ship when I was there. ==== Justin
jssabs Posted October 26, 2005 Author #6 Share Posted October 26, 2005 Sounds great. Just what we were hoping for, a quiet place that we can be away from the hustle, bustle and just relax. Sounds like it could be like a private pool. JSSABS
