I think I read on CC that gelato is served in the main dining room. Can anyone confirm this? Also, is gelato served in the buffet?

Thanks for your help!:)

Yes in the MDR, no in the buffet.

There are always a few choices of gelato and a sorbet as well nightly in the main dining room. :)

Is gelato included in the classic drink package that comes with our Aurea cabin? I can't figure it out from the website, which says "ice cream in a cone or cup."

Thanks!

Yes that is the gelato. You just can't get the fancier stuff like sundaes without paying.

Yes - there's an ice-cream (gelato) station just outside the buffet and another on deck 6 in the Piazza del Doge. As has previously been said, it's available for dessert at lunch and dinner in the MDR, without charge, for EVERYONE! :D

Thanks for the response. My daughter was asking whether she could get gelato with her package and I had no clue what to tell her! She is not big on sundaes - just give her the cold stuff straight up :D - so I'm sure she'll be fine.

Her problem may be deciding what flavour to choose! Then again she can probably get around to trying all of them at some point on the cruise!
