Hi

I have booked myself onto NCL's ship excursion "Discover Scuba" in Bermuda.

Anyone done this particular one.

If so:

Did you get a one on one buddy instructor?

Did you jump off the boat ?

What depth did you go to and for how long?

Did you feel safe?

Did you need a wet suit and was it provided?

I have already completed my Discovery Scuba Skills and two small dives in Bloody Bay Wall in Little Cayman - I am returning there next January to do my full padi - currently doing my online course work.

Just thought I would take the chance to "dip my toes in the water" again whilst I have an opportunity.

I am weeeeee bit afraid as I had total one on one instructor in Cayman - did you feel 100% safe?

Anyone tell me anything about the NCL excursion?

Thanks in advance.

B

I did this excursion in late June.

Our dive started from the beach. I think 12- 15 ft was our max depth.

The dive master took four of us. She was very good and made sure we were all comfortable in shallow water before we went deeper.

The water was warm so we did not need wetsuits. They did offer them at no additional charge. They also have masks for those who wear glasses.

We had a great time. Short video of our excursion.

Thanks :)

Seems pretty shallow in places - Had kinda hoped for an ocean "jump off a diveboat" - but not to worry - I am looking forward to just getting a taster again - working online on my PADI admin side now -

Thanks for the lovely video!
