Dinner dress code for men

I am wondering if the dress code is enforced for dinner. Do men all wear khakis or some kind of chinos? Would jeans qualify as long pants if they are not ripped, etc? I saw a post from 2012 but wondered if the dress code has changed some over the past 4 years. Also, what about dress shorts with a polo shirt? Thanks for any information.

I think that you would be quite comfortable in khakis and polo shirts for dinner. Shorts would not be welcomed at dinner in the J.M.WHITE Dining Room but could be worn at the Front Porch or outdoor River Grill. As far as jeans in the J.M.WHITE Dining Room, if men were wearing them I didn't notice, and it would have been a small minority.

Don't worry. My husband has dress pants to pack. He is just being stubborn and saying that jeans are long pants. So I thought I would post on here and get some ammunition to prove my point. Thanks for answering.
