shore excursion group

We are taking a mediterranean cruise and have found some very nice excursions with shore excursion group. They guarantee they will have you back to the ship on time. Has anyone used them?

You will see many threads on them. Summary, great prices, but they have had a number of customer service issues. They are a broker, which means they sell you a tour and take your money, but don't actually provide the tour. They contract with locals. When it comes to change issues or contacting the provider, there is now a middle man in the mix. As we have had trouble with brokers (not the one you are asking about), we only book tours directly with providers.
