Buying jewelry!

Two must-see shops that offer unique items made from local materials are the Jewelry Box at 101 Main St. for silver and gold, and Samarkand Jewelers at 94 Main St. for very unique jewelry. Samarkand uses sea shells to make molds then burn out the mold and fill it with gold or silver. If you have a boat they also design pendants of personal boats by special request.

Both are worth a visit, and upstairs over Samarkand is the Roti Palace if you want to try some of the excellent local dishes.

[EDIT] While in port don't miss Sunny Caribbee, a great little spice and rub shop.
