Driving to POM and Parking

Will be arriving POM in a POV from a hotel near the airport on Dolphin Expy (836). Both Google Maps (GM) and MapQuest (MQ) directions route me off Dolphin Expy using Biscayne Blvd to Port Blvd. The tunnel seems to be an easier, more efficient route but now I'm not sure since MQ and GM don't show that as an option. What route should I use?

 

Also, will be parking the car at POM and was wondering if there is always ample parking spaces available or if it is advised to reserve in advance (if that is even an option)?

Take the tunnel route, its the easiest way to the port. There is no reserved parking. Should have no problem parking.
