Zika has been detected in semen, vaginal fluids, saliva, urine, and breast milk. There is no evidence at present that Zika can be transmitted through saliva during deep kissing.

Karima, that is my point exactly....People do not want to give up their cruise, but are worried about traveling through Florida to get to the Port.

 

remember of the more than 1650 cases, all but 14 of them traveled somewhere , where they contracted the virus.

 

Now those 1650 came back here and could have infected how many more?

 

It is only because the danger is pretty much only for pregnant or soon to be pregnant women, that the seriousness of it is not really known. Well, Brazil thinks it knows the danger , which has shown in an increase of microencephaly and other birth defects.

I'm going to follow IntoCruising's lead and leave this thread. There is no point in arguing facts and science with people who are resigned to believe what they want.
