so i have $100 in rewards from my Discover credit card.

noticed they offer $200ncl gift certificate for $100 rewards.

was :) then read the fine print:

The cruise MUST be booked through the Cruise & Vacation Desk for the offer to be valid. :(

so it sounds like i cant use it towards a CAS 'free' cruise. (aka pay port fees/taxes).

nor can i use it to combine with 20% off a regular cruise from my Caesar's casino Total Rewards discount for being Diamond tier.

both because i have to book thru those specific departments to get the offer.

sigh..

Yeah the cash back deal is not really a NCL gift card, but rather a gift card for that travel agency.

They also have "celebrity" and "Carnival" gift cards...that have to be booked through the TA listed.

Its an ok deal if you have the cash back and are looking to use a booking agent.
