Scuba in Cozumel

Help! My husband needs to get a dive in when we are in Cozumel, but I don't dive. We are only in port from 9-6 and I am trying to find him a dive boat that is going out first thing when we get there so that we can get some beach time in also.

Is this even possible? Any suggestions of who might be able to accommodate us? I looked into Cozumel Scuba Club, but we don't get in early enough and we can't afford a private boat.

I always recommend Aldora for Cozumel. they work very well with the cruise ships, and provide a great experience. The only thing is they use larger tans (120 CF rather than 80), so they have longer dives and a longer surface interval. That being said, they usually do the surface interval at a very nice beach resort, just north of tow, You could go there and be there for a nice beach lunch when he comes in between dives. then he could meet you back there after he's done, or your could meet him back in town.
