19feller Posted August 6, 2016 #1 Share Posted August 6, 2016 Just booked our next cruise on The Navigator and was wondering if anyone can share their experiences on having an Aft Balcony. We've always chosen a stateroom mid-ship and besides more walking not sure what to expect. TIA Sent from my iPhone using Forums
Clarea Posted August 6, 2016 #2 Share Posted August 6, 2016 Expect a very large balcony, likely with a couple of loungers.
JoeRum Posted August 6, 2016 #3 Share Posted August 6, 2016 We have had an Aft Balcony on deck ten on Brilliance and on Navigator. Yep, its a little longer walk to your stateroom. But you have a really nice big balcony. If you have an awesome cruise board of active people you can have a deck party on a sea day. On our Navigator cruise this last March our cruise board group had 4 aft cabins and we had one heck of a party. Great view, no wind and a quiet place to get away from everything if you want. Happy sailing! JoeRum
boxermom711 Posted August 6, 2016 #4 Share Posted August 6, 2016 We have had aft balcony on deck for the last 3 years and have loved it. This year we were late booking & couldn't get an aft cabin. But still soooo excited & ready to be on the boat Sent from my iPhone using Forums

leaveitallbehind Posted August 6, 2016 #6 Share Posted August 6, 2016 (edited) We enjoy that location as well for the larger balcony but also really enjoy the view of the wake of the ship and the ocean behind us. It's also a nice view leaving the ports watching them as we head back out to sea. Edited August 6, 2016 by leaveitallbehind
mexicolafan Posted August 13, 2016 #7 Share Posted August 13, 2016 Once you go Aft - you never go back! LOVE LOVE LOVE the AFT balconies. Had one on 10 on Navigator earlier this year. Very large and we had 2 loungers, 2 tables and 2 regular chairs. So quiet & peaceful back there. Aft balconies are hard to get, because they fill up fast - so you got lucky! ENJOY!
