Best options for dinner near Long Beach port.

I'm getting to Long Beach the night before my cruise departs. I'm looking for advice on good places to eat dinner within walking distance of The Hilton Long Beach. The hotel has restaurants but I'd like to eat somewhere else.

A little over 1/2 mile there are restaurants (Bubba Gumps) around the Aquarium of the Pacific. Another block over is Chilis, Outback, Famous Dave's. At Ocean and Pine there is a Rock Bottom Brewery.

If you want to venture outside the tourist chains (bubba gump, etc...), look at:

 

Islands - a Southern California "chain" with good burgers and excellent entree-size salads. Used to go the one in Westwood (up by UCLA) back in the 80s/90s, and have been to the one in Phoenix and found same good stuff.

Gladstone's - the Long Beach outlet of the Topanga/Malibu seafood restaurant. Used to go the Topanga one for our "end of the work week" dinners on the way home from work - good SheCrab soup, and excellent seafood.
