Is there one ship that seems to be favored over the others for sailing the Eastern CAribbean?

 

Is the CAribbean Princess a new ship?

 

where do you find information about each ship?

thanks for pointing me in that directions. Is there some place that tells me what year the ship was put into commission? what is the newest grand class ship.==etc.

Serene go to the CC home page. Scroll down to "Ship reviews" pick the ship and to the left of the page it shows when it launched, how many passengers, etc.

The Carribbean Princess went to sea last April, so it is still a "newer" ship. We sailed on it last August and again next week. Last year was our first cruise, so I can not judge it against anything else, but we thoroughly enjoyed the experience.

Marilyn- thats what I am looking for-- I usually sail on Carnival and can get information like that on their web page.

Reading the baords and trying to get as much information as I can on the Caribean Princess.. not much on the web about it.

In the same boat as you with researching the Star...our first princess cruise too :)
