Port Everglades

The port opened this morning (Thursday) for cruise trafiic. Celebrity has not announced any itinerary changes as of NOW, but keep checking with them or your TA right up until you are on the ship.

Be advised that 90% of hotels in FLL have reported damage, many significant, and that you most likely will have difficulty in finding a place to stay if you were planning to arrive the night before the cruise.

Actually very few Fort Lauderdale hotels suffered any DAMAGE - They're just without power and can't reopen until power is restored.

The power is slowly coming back across the area and things are improving every day.

Yes, Port Everglades reopened this morning and is operating, as is FLL.

Yankee Clipper was still closed yesterday. I didn't see any visible damage, and they seem to have power, but I don't know what the problem is.
