flight times- POM to FLL

Recommended Posts

We are cruising from Port of Miami on Navigator of the Seas. Looking at a return flight from FLL at 10:5 AM .

Please give me your opinions, how doable is this time?

That's cutting it waaaaay too close

Seriously? Really? You might want to consider ordering a helicopter to fly you from the ship to the airport. Or disembark at the last port and fly back to Ft Lauderdale.

For a 10:55 flight you need to be at FLL by 9:25 - and 9:00 or before is a better idea with TSA chaos. With the drive from POM to FLL generally taking about an hour, that means you need to be off the ship, with bags, and clear of customs/immigration by about 8:00 with dedicated transportation waiting (limo/car service).

Can it work? Maybe. Do you want to spend your cruise worried about making your flight home? Do yourself a favor and book a flight leaving after noon to give yourself some schedule flex, and then relax and enjoy one last breakfast in the MDR.
